Where Shot?
Pin your photos on the map — with or without GPS
What is this?
Where Shot? lets you upload photos and place them on an interactive map. If your photo already has GPS coordinates in its EXIF data, it's placed automatically. If not, you can drag it onto the map and save the location.
How to use
- Upload — Drag & drop photos onto the sidebar, or click "Select Files". Photos with GPS appear instantly on the map.
- Place without GPS — Find your photo under "Unplaced", click Place, then click on the map where it was taken. The marker appears and you can drag to fine-tune.
- Adjust — Drag any marker to a new position, or click it to edit the coordinates manually.
- Download — Click a marker, then Download. The downloaded file will have the GPS coordinates embedded in its EXIF data.
- Delete — Click a marker, then Delete to remove it.
- Full-size — Click the photo thumbnail in the popup to view the full-size image.
Map controls
- 2D / 3D — Toggle between flat map and 3D globe. Use mouse/trackpad to pan, zoom, and rotate.
- Sidebar — Click the
<button at the sidebar's edge to collapse/expand the photo list.
